TWIST: How did you get involved in music?
Jasmine: Well I’ve always loved music ever since I was younger. I just became my family’s ‘personal jukebox.’ Every time they wanted to hear a song, they would know that I knew it and would ask me to sing still. It was [at first] just a hobby that I liked to do.
TWIST: Could you tell us more about your interactive music video for “Just a Friend?”
Jasmine: It’s an interactive video and I think it’s so cool! I’ve been watching it all day ever since it came out yesterday. It’s just a different way of having a music video and I wanted to connect with my fans but I wanted to make it bigger. When Microsoft and I came up with the concept, it was amazing and I thought it was really great because it has different outcomes for everything. I think it’s cool because it gives my fans a way to interact with me because I can’t meet all my fans but it gives them a way to stay connected with me.
TWIST: Is the song based on a real experience?
Jasmine: Yeah, every song I have is based on a real experience or stuff that I know goes on around me when it comes to my friends because I’m always the go-to person when it comes to problems. I always base my songs off of something that really happened in my life or somebody around me.
TWIST: Thanks for chatting with us Jasmine!
Jasmine: Thanks TWIST!
Drawing Hope is an organization that helps out people who are being abused, and Jasmine has been supporting them for a while since she got out of her bad relationship with Jinsu. Below are some videos of her at the organization’s recent event.

As you all know, Jasmine is the face of TokiDoki 2012, so she of course does a lot of photoshoots with them and works really hard. Here is a behind-the-scenes video of her latest photoshoot with them:
And also, I’ve been quite busy lately so that’s why it hasn’t been up earlier, but on March 6th, Chuey Martinez uploaded a video of him and Jasmine visiting a tokidoki store where they talked about her working for tokidoki and her upcoming album. Check it out below:
